Best Pre-Workout Supplement

Is there such a thing as “The Best Pre Workout Supplement?” I’ve been working out at the gym now for 5 weeks and since then I have taken several different pre workout supplements. Not all at once, of course. On different days I have taken products to see if they give me an extra boost, and I think that they do. I also think that for the most part, pre workout supplements are the same. Usually there is some combination of amino acids, maybe some vitamins and minerals and some caffeine.

It’s hard for me to think that anyone of them could be so much better than another, but it looks like what it comes down to is the right recipe or combination of amino acids, and caffeine. Not all amino acids are created equally. L - Leucine is a highly sought after amino acid that is an important component of building and maintaining muscle. All amino acids are good, but some are better than others.

L- Leucine is also an amino acid that is not created by our bodies. It is essential that we consume foods and supplements in order to get enough of this amino acid. Some of the Pre Workout Supplements that I have used were I’m sure, not the best combination. There will always be cheaper products that skimp out on the most important nutrients. These products often have a little bit of the best stuff combined with a lot of the “okay” stuff. The “okay” stuff isn’t bad, but it’s usually easier to come by.

There are some amino acids that are found easily in our food or that our body produces. These are good to have, but I expect more from a supplement. The Pre Workout Supplement that I have used the most so far is actually from the Marked line of supplements. Marked is a brand created by the actor Mark Wahlberg. Around the release of his movie, “Pain and Gain” he came out with this line of supplements. I think that they are quality products but unfortunately they didn’t do so well. They were slightly overpriced and easily overlooked.

I talk more about the Marked supplements in the video above, but here, I just want to say that I am pleased with the Pre Workout supplement. It’s called Igniter and it has a good amount of amino acids including L-Leucine, it has caffeine, and it also has some creatine. If you’re looking for an extra boost for your workouts, Pre Workout supplements can do that for you. They won’t make you invincible, they won’t make you super strong, but they will help. I don’t think that you need to spend a ton of money on them. Some of the cheapest ones may not be so good, but then again, maybe they are.

If that’s your budget, I say give it a try for a week and see how you feel. You could also spend a lot of money on very expensive Pre Workout Supplements in hopes that they are a fitness miracle. However, I think the best option is to find a middle ground. The most important thing is to start your own journey. Find out what works for you by venturing into the unknown.
