Del Taco Nutrition

There are not many places where you can get good Mexican food and a good hamburger, but Del Taco is one of them. If you’re like me, you may want to mix both types of cuisine together into one meal. Unfortunately, their burgers don’t have a very high protein to fat ratio.

Some of their best foods for losing weight are their regular tacos, soft tacos, the ½ pound bean and cheese burrito, and the spicy grilled chicken burrito. As for the goal of increasing muscle mass I would go with a regular cheeseburger, a taco al carbon chicken taco, and a strawberry lemonade. That would result in 620 calories, 26 grams of fat, 68 grams of carbohydrate, 4 grams of fiber, and 28 grams of protein. The carbohydrates may seem a little low and that is because the strawberry lemonade is listed as having only 9 grams of carbohydrates. I would think that it is higher than that but I’m not sure. Another good meal for him could be a deluxe del beef burrito, and two soft tacos. That would mean 770 calories, 33 grams of fat, 56 grams of carbohydrates, 7 grams of fiber, and a whopping 46 grams of protein. That meal is a little high in fat and protein so you would need to make up for it in other meals by eating less fat, and protein, and eating more carbohydrates.
